This wiki contains information, resources and links to out networking project and how our team is progressing on it. We will be focusing on:

• The implementation of 'single point access' in the network with LDAP/WinBind
  

• The use of a shared file system with Samba/NFS

We began by focusing on the ability to combine Linux and Windows authentication and allow users to have a consistant login name and password for all enviroments; email, web and user space ect. The infrastructure has continued to expnad for this idea to a complex and expanable network, including Sharepoint Services, Samba for sorage and Exchange for email. The system will be set on two host machines running VMware. The virtual machines will be bridged to the physical network as shown in the diagram. There are two reasons for this; the ever growing poplularity in virtual servers and for our own ease of use and transport to the trade show.
